HELLO!

So, today I showered. There is nothing unusual about me showering during a day. However, when I got out of the shower and walked past the mirror I did a double take. At first I was excited about the lack of t-shirt tan line and was impressed with my ability to get rid of that. And, then I was appauled by the rest of my reflection. I realized that although I've been somewhat active this summer it has not been enough.

As I was thinking about how to change the morbid mirror reflection I realized that breaking the mirror is not the option and that the answer would take more drastic measures.

My largest problem with working out/losing weight/toning up is not the pushups, pull-ups, and cardio workouts, it's the getting to the gym to do that. So, I've built this blog in an attempt to get help with my - and your - motivation, should you choose to join me.

I'm not starting my workout and diet program right now. Currently, I am asking for all those who are interested in being online workout buddies to speak up and begin to get your mind set for this experiment. So, please leave comments and add yourself as a follower. I will update this blog within the next week to include more plans for the blog and ideas submitted from comments.

  1. Love the idea. I was just telling Bobby I needed a workout buddy of some type to help keep me motivated. Yay for getting in shape!

  2. It's like you read my mind! Charlotte is a year old and I still can't fit in my pre-preggo clothes:(. I keep telling myself that once we move (and I'm no longer working full-time) I will get my fat-butt moving, so your timing is perfect. Count me in! (ps--I like your disclaimer. It's like you're married to a law student or something:)
